Liverpool, England

MANCHESTER

UNITED

LIVERPOOL.

Neither team managed to score on Anfield in this highly expected game.

Mourinho succeeded in shuting down Liverpool, and when the chances came De Gea stopped them.

Zlatan unperformed and should have done better on a great chance in the second half.

LIVERPOOL BETTER IN THE FIRST

Many expected a bombarding Liverpool from start but Mourinho outplayed Klopp tactically with his very defensive approach. That did however give the initiative to Liverpool who were better in the first half. They didn't create many chances though. 0-0 at halftime.

DE GEA TWO SUPERSAVES

The game continued in a similar manner in the second. Coutinho and Can forced De Gea to make two beautiful saves and Zlatan had a great opportunity to head in the opening goal but missed and the game ended 0-0.

ZLATAN.

Started the game.

Unfortunately Zlatan didn't perform his best in this game.

He got isolated alot when Manchester United played defensively and compact and didn't create many chances.

He took a freekick many meters over and had one shot on goal, from outside the penalty box.

But his best chance came ten minutes into the second half. He got a cross inside the 6-yard-box and headed from very close. But he mishit the ball and it went horisontally backwards, chance spoiled.

Zlatan has had hundreds of better performances, the positive was the one point.
