Zlatan is in an incredible form.
Tonight he scored another two goals when Lyon was destroyed 5-1 on Parc des Princes. For the first time in his career he has scored in nine straight home games and he extended his lead in the top goalscorer table.
– I feel that I'm in good physical condition, and that makes it easier to play, Zlatan said after the game.
PSG came with an almost complete squad to what used to be a tough, even rivalry game. Instead PSG they showed their superiority in the French League. It ended 5-1.
Zlatan opened up the scoring in the 11th minute. A Lyon-mistake gave him the ball in the penalty area with only Lopes to beat and he made no mistake with his right foot. 1-0 to PSG. Only six minutes later Serge Aurier extended the lead to 2-0 with a header on Di Maria's cross. Trapp then made a horrible mistake on Ferri's shot which meant 2-1 at halftime.
PSG dominated this game completely. In the 61th minute Cavani scored 3-1 after a beautiful cross from Di Maria, who made his second assist. In the 77th minute Ibra gave the audience a beautiful dribble in the penalty area and was fouled = penalty. He did what he always does, placed it low to the right with a hard shot. 4-1, Zlatan!
LUCAS GOALSCORER - PSG SUPERIOR
Lucas came on and scored 5-1, Di Maria made his third assist. Complete and utter superiority from PSG. The game ended 5-1 and PSG are still undefeated in Ligue 1 this season. They lead the league with 18 (!) points and haven't lost at home in the league since May 2014.
This was a typical Zlatan-game. Overall his performance on the pitch was ok, he showed some great moves but was relatively quiet in different periods in the game. But when you are put on the pitch to score and you score game after game after game, there is nothing but praise. In the first half he scored immediately. He picked up a Lyon-mistake and placed the ball underneath Lopes, his 13th Ligue 1-goal this season. Other than that he was relatively involved and took one other shot on goal.
His second half was equally as good. He scored on a penalty in the 77th minute, which was no surprise but it was the move before that turned heads. A brilliant one foot-dribble in a millisecond forced the Lyon-defender to foul him. Ibracadabra. The two goals tonight were his 13th and 14th in Ligue 1 and he extended his lead in the top goal scorer table.
