PSG WON IN ZLATAN'S "COMEBACK"

ONE ASSIST FROM IBRA - PSG CLOSER TO THE TITLE

NANTES.

Zlatan was finally back from his suspension.

Against Nantes, he helped his PSG to another win with one assist and involvement in another goal. 2-0 to Paris who remain at the top of the table with only three games left.

– Regardless of if it (the suspension) has affected me or not it felt good, Zlatan said after the game.

PSG got the perfect start. Already in the third minute, Zlatan got the ball in the center just outside the box and fired a left shot. The ball hit Nantes-players and finally found Cavani who made it 0-1 via Riou in the Nantes-goal.

ASSIST FROM ZLATAN TO 0-2

PSG were the better team in the first half and in the 31st minute Zlatan beautifully served Matuidi for the second goal. Thiago Motta passed Ibra in the middle who took a few touches and patiently waited for Matuidi who made a perfect run. Zlatan reached him with a through pass and The French international made no mistake but placed it safely behind Riou. 0-2 and PSG were on their way to the victory.

SECURE SAFETY IN THE SECOND

Like many times before PSG controlled the game to the end. They created some more chances and Zlatan should have been given a penalty, but mainly they protected their lead in the second. Rabiot and Lavezzi came on and Verratti/Motta dominated the midfield as usual. Final result: 0-2 and three supersafe points for PSG.

ZLATAN.

After being suspended for three games Ibra was back as the central striker. His first half was good, especially considering PSG had the lead 0-2 and he assisted to Matuidi's 0-2. He nicely served him with a through ball between Vizcarrondo's legs. He had one shot on goal in the first and two blocked ones. He wasn't as involved as he uses to but his passing was good and he should have had at least one more assist but Cavani missed his opportunities.

Not much happened in the second. PSG controlled the ball and wasn't too keen on really going for the third goal. Which affected Zlatan's performance. He should have been given a penalty at the beginning of the second when Cissokho tackled him in the penalty area. The Nantes-player claimed Ibra dived but looking at the replay it clearly looked like Zlatan got his foot before Cissokho who fouled him. Some good passing but no attempts in the second. Overall a decent game by Ibra with the one assist and 90 minutes in an important win.

2015.05.03 | Zlatan Unplugged

ZLATAN'S THOUGHTS AFTER NANTES-PSG

Tonight's away match against Nantes ended in a 2-0 win for PSG. What do you think of the match?

ZLATAN: "It was a good match."

You were involved in both PSG goals. How does it feel to be back and are you content with your performance?

ZLATAN: " Very good!"

Does it feel like the suspension has affected your form or physique in any way?

ZLATAN: "Regardless of if it has affected me or not it felt good."

You are now no 1 in the league three points ahead of Lyon and have three more matches to play in the league. Upcoming opponents are Guingamp, Montpellier and Reims. Is there anything that can stop PSG now?

ZLATAN: "It remains to be seen..."
