100TH GOAL + HATTRICK + FINAL!

ZLATAN GAVE PARC DES PRINCES WHAT THEY WANTED IN A GREAT GAME

PARIS.

100th goal in the PSG-shirt.

Hattrick.

Another final for PSG.

– There is no time to think. It all happens on impulse, Zlatan said after the game.

Parc des Princes demanded something great this evening and with an injured PSG there was some insecurity in the air. A certain Swede gave them exactly what they wanted in a game he completely dominated.

GOAL NUMBER 100 FOR ZLATAN

In the 21st minute Zlatan gave Parc des Princes some real football-candy. A beautiful backheel-through-pass to Lavezzi who only had Ruffier in the goal left. He was fouled, the referee blow the whistle for the penalty and Zlatan got ready to score his 100th goal for PSG. And he did! In his favorite corner, 1-0.

QUICK REPLY BY SAINT-ÉTIENNE

Saint-Étienne scored four minutes later. A sweet freekick from Mollo got to Hamouma who headed a high ball that got over Douchez in the PSG-goal. 1-1. After that the game was quite open and both teams had a couple of chances but the halftime score was 1-1.

LAVEZZI SCORED IMPORTANT GOAL

The first fifteen minutes of the second half was tight and unpredictable. PSG increased the tempo a bit, but Saint-Étienne fought well. In the 60th minute Lavezzi scored the important 2-1-goal. A great Pastore-cross from the right went over Saint-Étienne's defenders and Lavezzi jumped up and acrobatically headed the ball to the far post.

ZLATAN DECIDED IT WITH TWO GREAT GOALS

Saint-Étienne moved forward and with only 2-1, it did not feel supersafe. A missed penalty for Lavezzi created anger at Parc des Princes so with alot of tension in the air, a great Zlatan-goal could not come better. All of a sudden he was wide open with only Ruffier to beat and in a tight spot, he so intelligently put the ball on Ruffier's left side, ran on the right and put the ball into the open goal. 3-1, Zlatan had scored his 100th and 101st goal. Was that enough? Nope. In extratime, he got the ball to the right in the penalty area, dribbled and then blasted the ball in the bottom right corner. 4-1, hattrick for Ibra!

ZLATAN.

Zlatan's first half was good. He made a couple of really smart passes to Lavezzi, he was involved in PSG's attacks (19 successful passes), he had a freekick on goal that could have meant goal and more importantly he scored his 100th goal in the PSG-shirt. From the penalty spot in the 21st minute. Low and hard down to the left, as usual.

He kept playing well in the second. Showed good quality in passing with several nice one-two with the midfield and he did not disappear at all but was constantly there to help his teammates. In the 71st minute he got a great chance. On a counterattack, Rabiot found him to the left. He took it with him and placed it nicely passed Ruffier, but the ball hit the right post.

An uncalled penalty for Lavezzi in the second created anger at Parc des Princes so with alot of tension in the air, a great Zlatan-goal could not come better. It slowly became Ibra's night, excellent performance!

ZLATAN'S THOUGHTS AFTER PSG-SAINT-ÉTIENNE

Congratulations on going through to the final in the French Cup and congratulations on your 100th, 101st and 102nd goal for PSG. Are you happy with the match and your performance?

ZLATAN: "I'm very happy. Vitamin Well Upgrade helped."

Your second goal was something else as you rounded the keeper in the 81st minute and scored 3-1. Describe the goal and what you had time to think.

ZLATAN: "There is no time to think. It all happens on impulse."

You have scored eight goals on Saint-Etienne – this season alone. What is that makes you play so well against ASSE in particular?

ZLATAN: "I have felt good all the time, in every match."

With your three goals tonight you are the no. 2 scorer for the team through all times. What does it mean for you to have made such an impression in club history?

ZLATAN: " It feels really good. That means that I have made my mark."

Pauleta is in first place with 109 goals. When will you beat that record?

ZLATAN: "Soon!"
