MESSAGE SENT TO LONDON

PSG IMPRESSED WITH GREAT PERFORMANCE

PARIS.

PSG totally dominated Lens today and won 4-1.

Zlatan made his comeback with a penalty goal and a beautiful assist.

The perfect message to Chelsea before Wednesday.

– That will be a completely different match, but we are ready, Zlatan said about Chelsea after the game.

With Zlatan back in the team, but without Silva, Cavani abd Lucas, PSG started with enormous intensity and completely dominated the game the first 20 minutes. Chance after chance after chance. Zlatan hit the crossbar and was completely open with goalkeeper Riou, Bahebeck had a great chance and Luiz headed dangerously on goal. Lens looked confused, PSG had 66 % possession and it should have been 2,3-0 after 30 minutes. But no goals.

LUIZ SNEAKY FREEKICK

Until the 43rd minute. Zlatan got to take two freekicks in the first half with David Luiz watching. Luiz took the third one and did it successfully. A low, sneaky hit with Lavezzi moving out of the wall went passed Riou. 1-0 by Luiz, which was the halftime result.

ZLATANS 12TH LEAGUE-GOAL

PSG kept dominating the game, perhaps with a little less danger. A couple of half chances before Van der Wiel was fouled in the penalty area and PSG got a penalty after 15 minutes. Zlatan took the penalty with grace and made it 2-0 to Paris. Surely nothing could stop them now?

LENS CREATED NERVES

Well, from nothing in the 68th minute, they did create a chance. And a goal. A low cross from the left found Touzghar in the penalty area and the somewhat passive PSG-defense watched him place the ball behind Sirigu. 2-1.

SUPER-FINISH BY PSG

But the Lens-excitement didn't last very long. PSG immediately took back the initiative and finished very strong. Matuidi made it 3-1 in the 82nd after a beautiful PSG-attack and Zlatan assisted Pastore for another great goal in the 84th, 4-1. PSG showed great strength in this game but to be honest, Lens was incredibly unorganized and if it hadn't been for goalkeeper Riou PSG could have won 8-1.

ZLATAN.

Some games this season Zlatan hasn't had almost any chances. In first half today he had 6 (!) attempts and was very close to scoring. He should have. He had a left shot at the top of the crossbar in the 14th minute and a superopportunity only 4 minutes later, when he got totally open with only goalkeeper Riou to beat. But unfortunately he lobbed the ball too low and it was saved by Riou. So it was an inefficient half, he should have scored but he showed great energy and passing efficiency. After have missed two games and this being the last game before Chelsea, he gave some great answers.

Zlatan is one of the best penalty takers in the world (perhaps only Balotelli with a better percentage the last 10 years) and today he showed it once again. A low, hard one to the leaft meant 1-0 in the 59th minute. And he finished off a great performance with a beautiful assist to Pastore for the 4-1-goal. He got the ball from Pastore outside the penalty area and nicely lob-passed it back to the Argentinian who scored with a great volley shot. Except the ineffiency in the first, this was an amazing performance by Ibra.

"WE ARE READY"

ZLATAN'S THOUGHTS AFTER PSG-LENS

Tonight's match against Lens ends in a 4-1 win which means three important points in the fight for the league title. You dominated ball-possession, shots on goal, and scoring chances. Are you happy with your performance?

ZLATAN: "Yes, I'm happy. We won the match and scored many goals."

You scored PSG's second goal from eleven meters and you were also involved in your fourth goal as you chipped the ball elegantly to Pastore. How is the form after your two-match suspension?

ZLATAN: "It felt good today. I created chances and felt that I..."

David Luiz now has scored in two straight matches and is a constant threat as a skilled head player and free-kick striker. How important is the Brazilian defender to PSG?

ZLATAN: "He is very important to us."

Now all eyes and full focus is turned towards the deciding Champions League match in London on Wednesday. Was tonight's three points, four PSG goals, and no new injuries the perfect warmup before the match against Chelsea?

ZLATAN: "That will be a completely different match, but we are ready."
