ZLATAN READY FOR FIRST EUROPA LEAGUE HOME GAME

Manchester United play Ukrainian Zorya in Europa League tomorrow and José Mourinho has announced Zlatan will start.

Tomorrow Europa League continues, but rumor has it that you won't be on the squad. Is this correct?

Zlatan: "Everyone is in."

There have also been whispers about you making time for a mini-vacation in Italy. Is the media right about this – and in that case, what were you doing there?

Zlatan: "That's private."

This weekend your United exploded in an impressive 4-1 win against Leicester. Looking ahead, do you see this as a turning point for Manchester United this season?

Zlatan: "We need to continue focusing on the task at hand, and keep working hard."

In the match against Zorja Luhansk you will once again face a team that is considerably weaker, at least in theory. What are your thoughts about the match and your opponent?

Zlatan: "All matches are difficult."

ZLATAN HAPPY WITH HIS TEAM'S GREAT WIN

Manchester United demonstrated a great win at Old Trafford today. Champions Leicester got beat 4-1 and Zlatan was very pleased with his team's performance.

The meeting with the reigning champions Leicester ended in an impressive 4-1 win. What was it that made everything come together for United today?

Zlatan: "We played well today. Simple and with movement."

Jose Mourinho made a number of changes in the starting lineup, and both Rooney and Fellaini started the match on the bench. How big a part did these changes play in your performance flowing faster and smoother than before this season?

Zlatan: "Like all big teams we have many good players. It allows him to rotate the squad."

You didn't score, but were involved in most offensive actions. Are you happy with your own performance and the role you got today?

Zlatan: "Yes. Very good today."

Leicester are reigning champions, but haven't started this season as impressively as last year. Do you think Leicester still can fight for the title – and can your United after today's display get back in the fight for the gold?

Zlatan: "It will be difficult for all teams as this is a really tough league."

FIRST CUP GAME OF THE SEASON FOR MAN UTD

Zlatan is in José Mourinho's squad for tonight's League Cup-game against Northampton Town, currently in League One. It remains to be seen if Zlatan plays though.

Tomorrow the EFL Cup starts, the English league cup. You face Northampton Town FC, currently in 11th place in League One. What do you think of the match?

Zlatan: "A cup match. It's do or die."

Will you be on the squad, and do you have any indication from Mourinho if he's planning to start the best possible team?

Zlatan: "I'm in. Don't know the team."

You are big favorites to win the match, but things haven't been running smoothly in the last few matches. Do you see the match against Northampton as an opportunity to get back that winning feeling that you have mentioned?

Zlatan: "Yes, we want a good reaction."

Northampton have everything to win, and the players will want to perform the best 90 minutes of their lives tomorrow. How do you prepare for this David and Goliath situation? Is the difference between the two sides so large that motivation won't matter?

Zlatan: "We have to win regardless of the opponent."

José Mourinho rotated the team substantially, Zlatan started on the bench. Neither team had scored when Zlatan came on instead of Marcus Rashford in the 63rd minute and then Tonny Vilhena scored for Feyenoord in the 79th minute.

Manchester United pushed for a goal in the last ten minutes and created some half chances, but they lacked the true urgency and quality in their offense tonight.

ZLATAN DISAPPOINTED AFTER THE DERBY LOSS

Zlatan scored his 5th goal in five games for Manchester United but today it wasn't enough to get three points against Manchester City. He was disappointed after the game.

Your first Manchester derby was an eventful match in high tempo that ended 2-1 for City. What do you think of the match?

What was it in your opinion that decided the match in the light blue team's advantage today?

Zlatan: "First half."

Manchester City's new keeper Claudio Bravo had a tough debut and was involved in your goal, as well as several other situations. If we look a bit closer at the situation where Wayne Rooney got hit really hard by the City keeper – what is your opinion of the situation?

Zlatan: "Penalty."

You scored Uniteds only goal in the match, and you're involved in many more situations. What do you think of your own performance?
